Oh yeah, that’s right. Because 6 years without a vacation is enough. Because 6 years without a vacation is a special sort of hell.
Me, myself, and lj will be spending 3 days in Rome, 3 days in Tuscany, and 3 days in Venice. In October – when the weather is perfect.
Now all I have to figure out is how to bring some small electronic device with which I can update my lj while I’m in the land of gelato and Ferragamo. I don’t want to lug around my laptop (since I wouldn’t trust it in a hotel safe). But all the hotels I’m staying in have high-speed Internet access… so, I just need to find the right gadget for the job. Suggestions?
Looks like I’ll be learning Italian before I go. I’ve got enough time. 😛 Maybe. It took me 4 years to be proficient in French. Speaking Italian in 6 months? I must be crazy. But hey, I’ll have fun trying.

As for devices, I’ve heard a lot of great reports about the treo 650, with a wifi SD card/chip. Or even one of the Palm tungston’s with the thumb-keyboard and built in wi-fi. Or jsut get very aquainted with Italian public libraries? 😉
