The little engine that… whoa

MisterMister and I were watching Anthony Bourdain’s latest Christmas episode while Gilgamesh caught a few ZZZs. We were very entertained by Christopher Walken’s cameo, which stimulated this discussion:

MisterMister: You know what would be great?
Me: What?
MisterMister: If Christopher Walken did audiobooks of children’s stories!
Me: *snort* That would be AWESOME!
MisterMister: You know, like The Little Engine That Could. (attempting to impersonate CW) “I think I can, I think I can.” (giving up on the impersonation) I can’t to Christopher Walken! It was more like Keanu Reeves.
Me: *chokesnort* Yes! Keanu Reeves should do The Little Engine that Could. Christopher Walken should do The Three Little Pigs. There’d have to be a pocket watch in it somewhere though…
MisterMister: *giggle* (channeling his best Matrix-Keanu) “I think. I can. Whoa. I think.. I can.”
Me: I’m so blogging about this…

Your mission, readers, should you choose to accept it, is to reply with your suggestion for a storybook/celebrity pairing, or do your own impersonation and send the video!

Wait a minute. Are you sure he HASN’T done that?? See, now I have to look!

One of the best SNL’s was where Jesse Jackson did Green Eggs and Ham. But I REALLY thought Walken did something similar.
