There’s no accounting for taste.

Listening

Have I mentioned that I have a secret love of all things Hall & Oates?

Hall’s voice, Oate’s weird-ass fro. Those really, really, REALLY bad videos.

Yes, it’s not uncommon for me to have M-E-T-H-O-D-O-F-eh-L-O-V-E stuck in my head.

“Private Eyes” was my fave song when I was five years old. And did you know there’s a Disney music video of it? Classic.

Scoff if you will, but I will continue to revel in the ’80’s joy of “I Can’t Go For That”, and I will always wail forlornly with Hall whenever “She’s Gone” shuffles up on my iPod.

When they insist on blowing my bliss
I tell them this
When they want to know what the reason is
I only smile when I lie
Then I tell them why

Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss is on my list, of the best things in life

Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss, your kiss I can’t resist
Because your kiss is what I miss when I turn out the light

Ahhhhhh 😛
